At the age of 44 Ulrich Dolde did it. He quit his job, took the money he had saved for his pension and bought an old army truck. He had no experience … but he had a dream, a strong will and guidance from friends who were pros. Together with his wife Edith, he built an expedition vehicle with his own hands. They travelled through Europe and Ulrich published a book called „Wohnmobile selbst ausbauen und optimieren“ (in german).
